Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 17 August 2026
These terms govern your use of ReadMe (the "Service"), a multilingual translation and read-aloud application operated by Globe Regent Tech Solutions LTD, a company registered in Israel ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms and enter into an agreement with Globe Regent Tech Solutions LTD. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
ReadMe lets you paste or upload text, translate it between languages using automated machine-translation models, and generate synthetic speech audio from the source or translated text. Usage is metered in credits: one credit covers up to 1,000 characters of translation or of audio generation. Free monthly credits, subscription plans and one-time credit packs are described on our pricing page.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be of legal age to enter a contract in your jurisdiction. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break any applicable law or regulation, or infringe anyone's rights;
- commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate another person or organisation;
- process or generate unlawful content, including child sexual abuse material, incitement to violence, hate speech, targeted harassment, or malware;
- create deceptive synthetic voice or text content, including voice or identity impersonation of a real person without their consent;
- submit text you do not have the rights to process, or content whose translation or narration would infringe copyright or confidentiality obligations;
- interfere with the Service's security or integrity — probing, scanning, scraping, circumventing credit limits or rate limits, or reverse engineering the Service;
- attempt to bypass content filters or manipulate the models into prohibited output;
- resell, redistribute or sublicense the Service itself.
4. Your content and automated output
- You keep all rights in the text you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transmit that text — including to our model providers — solely to deliver the translation and audio you requested and to keep your saved history available to you.
- Subject to these terms, output generated from your input is yours to use. We claim no ownership over it.
- You are responsible for your prompts and inputs, for how you use the output, and for confirming you hold the rights needed for both.
5. Accuracy of automated translation and speech
Translation and speech synthesis are automated and probabilistic. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, mistranslated, or misleading, and pronunciation may be wrong — including for vocalised Hebrew and other diacritic-bearing scripts. The Service is not a substitute for a qualified human translator and must not be relied on without human review for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical or other regulated purposes. You are responsible for verifying output before you rely on or publish it.
6. Content moderation
We may filter, refuse, restrict or remove content and output, and may suspend accounts, in order to enforce these terms or comply with law. Rights holders may report infringing use to us at the contact address below; we will review reports, remove infringing content where appropriate, and may terminate accounts for repeated or serious infringement.
7. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service, including its software, interface, documentation and branding. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you selected. Nothing in these terms transfers our intellectual property to you.
8. Payments, subscriptions and taxes
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, renewal, cancellation, tax and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically for the billing period you chose until cancelled. Monthly plan credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over; credits bought as one-time packs do not expire while your account is active.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, and maintenance, third-party model outages or factors outside our control may interrupt access.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; you may export your saved translations beforehand, and we will delete or anonymise your data as described in our Privacy Notice.
11. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from the content you submit, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.
13. General
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
- You may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
- We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the app.
